The Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre and Centre for Sports Engineering Research at Sheffield Hallam University are running a breakfast networking event for SMEs within the Sheffield city region in sport, health and wellbeing.
Who is the event for?
This event is relevant to companies that wish to find out more about AWRC and its plans towards opening at the Olympic Legacy Park in Spring 2019. Included in the event is a tour of the university facilities as well as a networking opportunity with other businesses over breakfast.

What is the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre (AWRC)?
The AWRC is a new development at Sheffield Hallam University that brings together a wide range of research disciplines to focus on technical innovations in sport, health and wellbeing. Our research professionals have great experience in working with businesses on research and product development projects.
Our clients include: Adidas, Decathlon, Ping, the FA, English Institute of Sport (EIS), International Tennis Federation, GB elite sports teams and Westfield Health. We also have a long and successful track record of working with local and regional SMEs.

The Sheffield Innovation Programme (SIP) allows small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) from across the Sheffield City Region to access academic expertise, facilities and resources to support and develop business growth.
